Challenge 1: Networking for young apprentices

The problem:

95 per cent of Bangladeshi youth work in the informal sector, where many are self-employed (32 per cent). BRAC  provides an apprenticeship training to marginalised young people that connects them to better jobs and improves their skills. Problem is, we do not have a way to track their progress once they graduate. The graduates also need a space where they can remain in touch with each other.

The solution:

Design a community platform for our graduates which will help them to build a strong network of their own. It will also allow BRAC management to track their progress and connect trade persons with new talent.
